I have no idea. Again, I'm not sure what the point would be. I see no performance advantage in doing so.

well dave one advantage would be no leaky door
vibration to smear the sound

full rear wave containment

better crossover design

come on dave I am sure you can come up with some positives

every now and then walking down the street I see a car with small home audio speakers on the rear deck. I am sure there are many out there that have seen this.
