IF they are really 29lbs, that would explain the Focus RS' lack luster performance. . .ugh, that's a lot of rotating mass. . .

On another note Tire Rack says that they are the same weight as the painted version... I was under the impression that Chrome Plating would add a fair amount of weight to the wheel... Inputs?

chrome plating adds significantly more weight, I don't know how cheap the ford plating would be NOT to add more weight. . .

I like the 5 spoke FSVT rims in black, but why didn't they just coat the entire rim, i.e the inside. I like that alot, but I want the lip left polished. I looked into having it done to my FSVT rims and its going to cost me $140.00 a rim to have it custom powdercoated. If and when I do this, the stripes are going away for another type of stripe

Ford Racing does say it's 29 #'s. I didn't belive it so I went and looked for myself. Does the Focus SVT wheel really weigh 25 # though?

From what I've read the SVT Focus wheels are 21 #'s each.... Not too bad
