Spoken like a true Canadian... I play on a hockey team with 10 Canadians on it. They are all diehard leafs fans as well as senator haters. But then I asked them what if ottawa beat the leafs and were the only canadian team left in the playoffs?? Every one of them replied that they would route for ottawa. Thats whats so great about the Canadian hockey fan, they will make the most out of their rivalries while they last, but in the end they just love the sport.

But you have to admit, there are some areas where hockey just doesnt fit in. Like the huricanes for example, 2 years ago they made it to the stanley cup finals, and had a fan base. Now they want the team out of carolina.
