Yeah, I can see that, though I think things like this might help because, When I first started to watch Hockey way back when I didn't know of the teams that were in the cup finals. And after watching them I have become a large fan of one of those teams. I saw how they played, and as a player myself was amazed at how great the goalie was. (Brodeur)
so maybe these teams could help grow fans in other places. I know it worked for me.
Another thing is if these to teams played each other in the finals there could be some great talent from rising stars that people will be able to see. Did anyone see the Jonathan Cheecho goal where he one timed it between the legs "Lemuex(sp?) style"
