Yankee hockey? The Wings have only been the team to beat for the past 7 or 8 years. It's the fan support that allows us to buy the best players. Not just game attendance (which does sell out every game) but merchandise sales, etc. Fact is if they were your team, you would be rooting for them too. 
Although I will say that I'm glad the Flames/Canuks are playing eachother in the first round. Anyone else been watching those games? Thatâ??s some damn good Hockey.

The Red Wings have been around since 1926 and IIRC, didn't your team come from Atlanta  I know, I know, your team is Canada now and it is your sport, but to lump us in with the likes of Phoniex, Atlanta, Nashville, Anaheim, Carolina, etc as "Yankee hockey" is pure 100% B.S.  As far as "Go Flames", well, if your team sacks up tonight, you'll be facing the Red Wings and you'll see how much we suck alright

Well Flames fan it looks like you couldn't finish off those Canuks last night, but atleast we get to enjoy a game 7, one of the best sporting events...EVER! So if the Flames win we face them, if they lose, we face the Aves...bring it!
