Its a predominantly pure tone, with little noise, so the module is tuned to only those frequencies...

This doesnt sound too reliable... Wouldnt there be a lot of false alarms? My neighbor has one that goes off constantly during intense thunderstorms.

Anyway, are the higher end models like vipers, or brands like avital, easy to install also?
