Ok first there is no problem with insuance...unless it a custom or show car or like I have a 1993 5.0 mustang nothing special right its a convertible well I have over 20,000 in motor and trans very sweet car. Well the insurance company if I wreck it or its stolen will only pay what a 93 5.0 conv is worth, they do not care how much money I have in it. Has to an apparisal.
you can not drive a salavge vechile it has to be inspected and then its called rebuit then it can be titled.
As for the miles on the car....look at the title. If the title show higher miles then something is wrong.
A car fax is a good idea.....but what some people on this site should know is that fords gauges SUCK MONKEY balls.
So It might of been replaced....when a dealer does it they put a sticker in the door jam. If an auto rebuilder is the one with the car for sale....ask what was wrong with it.
It is very possible for this many mile on an Csvt00 I know where one is totaled w/29,*** miles @ a salvage yard.
hell I got a 1998 with a rebuilt title for sale/71,980 miles on it for $4550 in Indiana
