What size bushings do I need to get to be able to put my stock bar back on using the brackets that come with the "aussie bar"? I know this is a double post - but in the SE MI forum all it did was start a discussion about bar itself instead of answering the question - maybe someone here knows the answer

BAT sells bushings. The bar is 19mm if a recall? Go on BAT and look under the suspension parts. I don't know if they'll work in the aussie bar mounts..but they might

Thanks... I would go back totally stock but I had the "upgraded" plates welded on so I have to keep using the brackets that came with the bar...

Damn it if I didn't forget the companys name who sells the bracket/bushing combo that was included in ever Aussie bar purchase.

I assume your mounts are U shaped, bole up on each end adn you have a red urethane busihing that is grooved?

If so, you can go to said company and buy a new bracket/bushing set. $15 shipped I think or inquire about new bushings for the Stock SVT 18mm bar or whatever size bar you are using now that will fit the U bracket you already have. All there U brackets come in two sizes. Type A or Type B. The bushing cutout size changes but not the bracket size.

You're probably thinking about Prothane bushings and I think that Summit Racing my sell them, although I can't remember for sure.
