i just took the factory pieces out of the SVT yesterday. the amp behind the glovebox is a real POS. i hooked up my Pioneer DEH-P6000 with the amp bypass, and added the 6 disc changer in the glovebox. without even changing the speakers, the stereo sounds MUCH better.
for all you with the stock HU, GET RID OF IT!!! you're doing no one a favor by keeping it.
