OP metro Newbie M Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 3	Hi, This is a great site. I just purchased a 98 contour se sport but it didn't come with a user manual and I want to know what the specs are. I'm actually curious about whether or not it has ABS or not. I tried looking up spec sheets on the net without success. Can someone direct to a site that has the specs to my model car? Its a forrest green 4-door, 4 cylindar Contour, loaded.

Congrats on a nice car, the 4 bangers are quite reliable engines, our tannies though... . Just keep it cool & you'll be fine. To answer your question, try entering your VIN number at the Ford web site. They'll have all kinds of info on what yor car was equipped with when it left the factory - right down to the paint code & PATS system. There is a VIN decoder on this site in the main pages. Just click on "Main Site" above & look around for a while, good stuff in there. Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
