I searched a little before asking so please help i want to run two 10" pioneer free air subs mounted on the rear deck. Ive read u have to reinforce the rear deck but do you also have to make it air tight from the trunk. also must the trunk be air tight because as it is right now i have a water leak when it rains.

10s are just a bit too big in diameter to do the free-air mount to the rear deck as traditionally done with 8s and a baffle board.

You'll have to either do some work with spacers to drop the baffle down a bit to allow for enough room or free-air mount them behind the rear seats.

You could also get creative and try a down-firing enclosure suspended from the rear deck.

if you angled the baffle, you could get the 10s to work. but two 8s would be enough.
