Here's an interesting one for you: I'm watching a movie called "The Rundown." It's pretty good. It's stereotypical of The Rock. There's a quote by Ewen Bremner (Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, Snatch) in which he says "...and there shall be no mercy for any force that stands blocking this path of His righteousness." It sounds like something out of Isaiah or Jeremiah. I've looked on Blue Letter Bible and I can't find which passage he's referrencing, if any. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I want to find it.

Interesting, after doing a search, I cannot find anything either. Nothing even close. Wonder if it's not even anything from the Bible, but maybe the Tora or something?

Using my bible software it takes about 5 seconds to search the whole bible. I searched the bible for the phrase NO MERCY. Here is what I found;
Isa 47:6 I was wroth with my people, I profaned mine inheritance, and gave them into thy hand: thou didst show them NO MERCY; upon the aged hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
Jer 6:23 They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have NO MERCY; their voice roareth like the sea, and they ride upon horses, every one set in array, as a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Zion.

indeed that does sound like something out of the bible. but after doing a pretty extensive search, i couldnt find anything on biblegateway.com

The phrase "paths of righteousness" appears in the Psalms a few times but apart from that one phrase the verses are not at all similar to that quote. I'm thinking that's not an actual quote from the Bible.  Maybe some screenwriter thought it was, but I couldn't find it.

it sounds similar to something that could be in the Bible, but that's about it. i think it's obviously just made up, intended to sound like a Bible verse. if you've seen Pulp Fiction, then you've seen an example of "artistic license" with an actual verse from the Bible (only about 10% of the entire quote was actually a quote).  in this case, though, it seems to be completely made up.
