could somebody explain series and parallel wiring to me. I get them confused. I have 4 single coil speakers and want to run a 2 ohm load. Please help.


95 contour (All the usual mods and then some.) Trying to sell four wheeler so i can buy turbo.

well, depends what amp/amps youre working with. for instance you could bridge 2 channels to each speaker for a 2 ohm load, but that would require two amps and likely give too much power. or, you could run the wire from the positive of the amp to one speaker, from that speaker to the other, and then back to the negative of the amp in a loop. this will give you 2 ohms too, with only 1 channel of the amp. this would take away some of your control with fade and balance, etc, if that matters... what else can you tell about your setup?
