I am mounting a 300 watt amp in the trunk. What ways do you reccomend running the wiring and the RCA cables? Down the middle? Down the sides? Any input would be great.

I ran the signal cables down the passenger side and the power cable and turn-on lead down the driver side. Never a single hint of noise.

BTW, get Knu's 4GA kit. I think he's got 2ch or 4ch sets (1 patch cable vs. 2 patch cables). Really nice stuff at a great price.

i ran my power cable and REM wire on the drivers side (battery side) theres a rubber grommet to run the wire through so u dont have to drill.

i ran the RCA cable on the pass side. Its best to run the wires on opposite ends to eliminate interference

running my wire from trunk to battery was a pain in the arse...

i ended up going like through the inside of the fender, under plastic in drivers side, under the car somehow, i dont know, somehow it went a lot of places i didnt expect it to!! but no drilling..

to run the power half, I went from:

Trunk
between rear seats and rear door
under doorsills
along side of car
past driver's seat
under dash
out grommet into windshield washer cowl
out of cowl into engine bay
battery

Thanks for all the tips. Now I have 1 more question. How do you get past the rear seats? Do the seats have to come out? I do not have my contour here to look at, it has been at the body shop.

The rear seat cussion just pops off. There are two clips that hold down the front, just give it a tug and it should come off. Then just rout the wire under the seatback and you are done
