I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 360 Amp, and I am looking to get just get one sub that will put out some decent bass. Does anyone know what sub would best go with this amp? I really dont know much about car audio, but my friend tells me to go for 1 JL Audio W3... I dont have much money to spend, so cost is an issue too... Any other suggestions??

Get a Lambda Acoustics PB series subwoofer. Probably the best SQ subwoofer you can buy and with more than enough in the SPL area. I have a PB15 myself, and it as the best sub I've ever heard. It does however require a 3 cubic foot box, but the PB12 can do with a smaller box. They are far superior to the W3. The total cost for me in CDN after shipping and everything was $378 which is pretty cheap considering the level of the equipment You can get them online from www.stryke.com www.stryke.com/SALser.html If you find what I said hard to believe, wait and more people will come on and tell you the same

Ahhh yes, the Lambda Acoustics PB series. Dave (dnewman04) has gladly put this in our hearts. I do not have one yet, but because of everyone being satisfied, i will be purchasing it for my g/f's Ford Focus. I will actually be paying/installing a new system in there for her. Well, go buy yours. Stop waiting.
Give me more beer and CEG before i get depressed!

Oh yeah,,,I have a Lambda Acoustics,,,a puny 10" PB series....its excellent,,,I persoanlly dont think you need a 15" unless it gives you sexual pleasure to have those 3 meter wavelenghts go thru your body at high volume,,,,My 10" puts out plenty of volume and is well balanced.
He's chaaarging!!!...(add scottish accent)...

Hey, if I can get an orgasm from my stereo, what's wrong with that? :p Seriously though, all PB models would be excellent choices, the only real advantage (at the cost of trunkspace) to a 15 over the 10 would be the increased volume with the same power supplied. Also the 15 can reach lower frequencies that the 10 would not be able to. But like I said, the 15 needs way more space, and the 15 costs more too. It will however, destroy any Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, especially at the price level

INTERESTING........
IF YOU PURCHASE THE NEW FOSGATE PUNCH 2 HZ....IT WILL MATCH YOUR AMP. EITHER USE A SINGLE 8" PLACES AGAINST THE WHEEL WELL OF THE DRIVERS SIDE OR A SET OF 8"s ONE ON EACH WHEEL WELL...
THERE ARE NOT MANY SPEAKERS THAT WILL DESTROY A FOSGATE... AND THE AFOREMENTIONED IS SADLY NOT ONE OF THEM....AND HOW DO I KNOW??? I ONE OF THE SPEAKER SOUND TESTERS FOR FOSGATE HERE IN KY.
IF YOU CAN FIND A 10" BOSE THAT IS YOUR BEST BET TO MATCH UP TO A FOSGATE AMP....
