if any CEGer has ever had to replace their alternator please state at what age did the alternator fail. My duratec alternator failed after 10 plus years

not much going on up there? did you want 9 years? I know you love your car but its not a child

Did you get the first Contique off the line or what?? These things were only available starting the 1995 model year - correct???

Mine was replaced at 60k miles.

mine was replaced after 80k...my system was a big factor in that though.

only replaced once in one of the four cars we have, it was the 99 and it was only because the housing had corroded and cracked

Mine was replaced after only about 3 years. The 110+K miles on it at that time might have had more to do with it then the time.

130k and going strong on my 96. Engine went first.
