Easily actually, getting off the highway I bottomed out the rear suspension after rolling over a large dip in the road. I'm one of three people (that I know of) that has broken a sway bar at this location. Not only that, but I'm sure my bar was corroded badly and being a small diameter, very little force would be needed to snap it like a tooth pick. That's just my uneducated guess
