Well, here's a update of what happened today. I emailed AAMCO hq earlier to let them know of the problem with that store. I even called and was promised a call back by 5:30 EST.
Around 4:15pm EST, my hub comes home from work, so on cue, I call AAMCO to find out what's up with my car since I was told they'd work on it first thing this morning. The manager answered and I asked what's up with my car, his exact words were "Nothing". I asked what did he mean, he explained they were still backed up from the weekend and couldn't get to my car today. I politely told him I needed my car soon, and asked how much longer it would be, his exact words were "I just got a call from my home office, so I don't know how long before YOUR car is ready." I said "Excuse me? I need my car." He said "Hey, you have a leak, it needed fixed, but I won't tell you when it's ready." I rudely said "Well, I can always take it to another AAMCO since it's under warranty." He says "Well, why don't you do that then."
So we went and picked up my car. He didn't say a damn thing but handed me my key. Dude gives me the key without even making sure I owned the car.
I walked out, hub & I made sure everything was still in my car and the car wasn't damaged and came home. I tried to call AAMCO hq back, but it was close enough to their time to go home that I just wound up leaving a message stating that I emailed them earlier, and due to their calling the manager of the store, he's refused to fix my car and we need to talk about this.
I am going to call them first thing tomorrow morning.

Hey this is kind of a long shot.....but I remember a TSB for the 98s at least that meantioned that the trannie breather hose can get clogged causing some fluid leakage. I'm not sure if that would apply to yours or not being a 98.5 but since they haven't been able to find another source of the leak it might be worth looking into. Good luck!
Oh yeah.....and to everyone on here......always save all receipts anytime you have anything done to your vehicle....I mean anything. Even little things like oil changes....I know several people who had to learn this the hard way.

I don't think flushing would be a very good idea in your situation.

Renee, here in SOCAL we have lemon laws. I don't know about SOCAR, but you might want to check with the state dept. of consumer affairs and see if there is legal recourse there, they may take on the battle for you. also if the manager at the shop was that rude I would not take it back to that shop even if I had to drive to a different town. good luck, don't cars suck some times.
