I've driven a lightly modified version of the little gem above, and it was one helluva experience. Even a 540i is an outstanding performer.




If they look anything like the new 5-Series, it's a no on my part. I'm not fond of the new design at all, though things do change.

I couldn't stomach paying upwards of $70-80K for a car, either. Too rich for my blood, though I won't deny dreaming of a 470HP E-39 done by Dinan ever since I heard about them...

Caddy build-quality (sans the Catera ) has been very good from what I can tell. Resale? That's another story altogether...

I do believe I'm going to wait a spell before jumping into a CTS-V whole-hog. I've learned the hard way to never again buy a 1st model year vehicle...
