IMHO,
one layer of Sound Deadener vs. one layet of Dynamay Extreme = Dynamat will work better
If you're going multiple layers, you won't notice.
Dynamat is better at stoping vibration, when comparing small peieces of the two material.
It depends on how much and where you plan to use it.
