3/4" MDF, liquid nails, table saw, jig saw, circle scriber, measure once, measure twice, measure three times...

Also, make sure your box will fit through the opening before building it.

I tried once and didn't measure twice...lots of wasted wood...

Good advice, also make sure you know the optimal box volume for your subs.

Don't cut off your fingers! laugh I make a scale drawing of the box together and then of all the pieces apart with the measurements next to them. Then, I determine the best way to cut the pieces out of the sheet of wood. But thats just me, I'm silly that way. I've still got drawings of boxes from 7 years ago.

only necessary if you can't build the box to spec, or if the box is going to be playing into midbass freq.
