i put 93 in it last nite and i will take it for a ride tonite. hopefully there will be no more noise.

That's a very familiar sound. Only makes a noise when under load. Does your transmission downshift when you go up a hill? I used to have that noise when I short-shifted in my focus. Just a thought!

My '99 SE does this, too. It started when I was driving to Dallas from CO Springs in December, and I thought it was just bad gas. It's still doing it, and I've even tried putting in 93 octane. Is there anything else I can do, maybe some way to clean out the engine to get rid of this noise? Also, it's still under warranty; will they fix it if it's making this noise?
