I wouldn't call myself a "real 'manly guy'", but the use of scented lotions and certainly those meant for a girl is not even boyish, it's qwerish.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, just don't go around wearing some V.S. scented lotion and calling yourself straight.
Personally, being a bike mechanic and using all sorts of chemical cleaners and bike lubricants all the time, my fingers are all f-ed up and cracked. I use some Aveeno lotion that smells a little bit like oatmeal if you put your face right in it.
Let girls smell like girls buddy, if you really want to smell it all the time , spend more time with girls!

I hate those scented lotions! They wreak and you can smell them a mile away. I want he to smell good in my arms not 30 ft away.

rollingstash, bishop and izzodesh all have good points. most girls do not like a mans hands to feel like sandpaper! at the same time they do not like their men to smell like girls. a man should smell like a man. to that end there are lotions that will help relieve dry/cracked hands and improve your scent without making you smell like a girl. victoria secrets makes nothing for men, only women. if you fancy smelling like a girl then you have a very real problem brewing and you should begin looking for other signs or perhaps get a hormone analysis done. if you simply like the way your girl smells then welcome to the club. most of them smell pretty good and we guys like that but do not confuse this with wanting to be like them as that is infact a homosexual tendency.

Well... most colognes have a line of lotions which are actually meant to be worn in conjunction with the cologne.
The lotion does not smell exactly like the cologne. The types of product complement each other with overtones and undertones to create a richer fragrance.
I personally don't feel it's worth the money, though. I prefer to pick my lotions separately.
Bath and Body Works has some nice citrusy and more masculine smelling lotions as well, and they work great. Shower gels are another good way to get a more subtle scent about you (though watch your chemistry, as with any scented product!)
I would not consider wanting to be like a woman a homosexual tendency. In fact, most crossdressers and transvestites are not gay.

LMAO @ scented lotion. you need to get your estrogen level in check buddy.
what's the point anyway, if you want to smell good then use a little of some nice cologne and not that cheap old spicey stuff.

many consider me to be the conservative, stubborn "manly men don't ...." type. with that said: 1)using lotion is not a problem, 2) smelling good is recommended, 3)a man should no more use a woman's lotion than use her secret deoderant. ask any woman who knows what she wants whether she wants her man to smell like a man or like her girlfriend and i guarantee you she would prefer a clean smelling, well groomed (usually) man.

Nivea makes a guys line of stuff, although it's not that scented. Either the body shop or bath and body works (forget which) has a guys line as well.
