i wasn't that under budget lol

been looking at xover graphs all night and reading. I'm guessing a 2d order linkwitz rielly in a conjugate set up with a zobel filter is gonna be the way to go.
I never did find specs on the 4 ohm MW166. It'd be nice to have them to build the seris notch filter (zobel i think). I'm still reading and thinking on what to make the xover freq. This may be something to experiment with after they are in the car. Maybe 3000hz is a good starting point. I'm still a virgin at this so am I on track to pop my cherry or what.

I would try to go as low as possible. Somewhere in the 2-2500 hz range would be what I would start with.
