Not to long ago I replaced the hu in the SVT withe a kenwood KDC-MP8017 mp3 player. It's not the greatest but it's what I got. I put a 12" shiva sub in the trunk powered by a JBL BP 1200.1.
What I want to do now is put some 6.5" components up front and probably just disconnect the rear doors. I've been reading through past posts and many of you give high marks to the focals and the mb quarts. Which focal or mb quart or other kits or actuall speakers do you recommend. I'm looking for the model number or name.
Also I could use some suggestions on what type of amp to power the components. If you guys can suggest any other set of components and amp please let me know. I'm looking to spend around 500 maybe a little more if it's worth it for the amp and components. Is this enough money to make my car finally sound like it should (with the shiva already in the trunk).
