Exactly. The guy is looking for the actual history behind the engine. All that most of us (including me) know is who designed it (cosworth and porche) and who messed with the design before using it (ford). Im sure theres more behind the history of the engine than just a few names being dropped. I am willing to bet I cant use the search engine to find more than the creator's name.

kinda late here but whats with everyone assuming that anything ending in 'tec' is a replica of vtec
I've been hearing that alot lately with the zetec and people all together dropping the 'e' and calling it ztec...
its kind of annoying in a way...

Nah. I took a few minutes to read his back-posts and it seems like he really dosent seem to have a clue. It still amazes me how pissy some people can get over stuff like this.

leave it to the "veteran CEG'rs to talk $hit....just do yourselves a favor with your ego and your tour, and put it in an autocross event and show us how well you think you can drive, you'll be much happier with the results...and as for the honda's doin 18-19's ....i dont really think so, i mean that is with the bare bones stripped down automatic that doesnt even have enough HP to get outta its own way. but drop a vtec from an SI or an acura in that thing and a few bolt ons(Maybe a turbo), and you have a screamer that weighs in a hell of a lot less that the tour.....LEAVE IT IN AUTOCROSS....this car will never amount to anything on the strip. It's better in autocross anyways
Oh...and keep them comin....like i said, it makes me laugh.
