Give me a break, buddy.

Burk - to answer your question simply, there's no relation between the VTEC and the Duratec. Plain and simple. I'm sorry you had to witness this display so early in your stay here at CEG.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH..

*sigh*...

BWAHHHHWWWWWW HAHAHAHAHAHA

that was great.

[soapbox]
I am with Demon..

There are a handful of guys on here who seem to know a HELL of a lot more than anyone else, and that is through (for the MOST part) LARGE trial and error mistakes.

If I ask a stupid question, or one that I just don't know the answer to, and I didn't bother to research on my own: I would expect to be told to research with a little irritation.

Personally, I would MUCH rather have Brad(Bnoon) Greg(DemonSVT) or Warmonger tell me ANYTHING with as much attitude as they wanted, than have someone... else... tell me what they think is correct, or not have any answer at all..

I am just tired of all the griping about stupid stuff... you CAME here for answers... did you get them? okay then... tada... Sorry if typing the SAME thing, EVERY DAY, to the SAME types of people, gets a LITTLE boring...

Why is it that you guys can "easily" understand why fast food work sucks so much (because they are treated poorly, and expected of FAR more than they can do, like a peon, and for little money), but can't understand that giving out invaluable information 24/7 for free can get a little old..

i think its pretty funny that i see hondas doing 18s and 19s in the quarter mile. when we paid less and have the same damn bolt ons as they do ie d16 single ohead cam with headers cold air 50 shot msd igintion and a whole crap load of guages on his a pillar that dont work cept his ar and nitrous guage. i know this is what ym beast friend drives. and if he was to get a b18c or maybe the b16a2 he would or might be in the high 15s seeing that i smear crap on si hondas all the time. and cept for a 50 shot id say im close to stock right now. all you honda guys put a pretty penny into those cars and without boost i really dont think very many all motor civics or wutever else there is can talk much crap to us seeing that we run 15s stock. my 2 and a half pennys and yes i have been beat by a few hondas one was all motor and it was a crx hatch with a b16 and at least 5 grand in the motor plus the 3 to buy it im sure damn he shoulda bought a tour with a supercharger. l8

Shouting is so 1990. I understand how you feel, but you are socially inept. And as for this thread, someone should learn to search. I started a thread AFTER reading about he engine from searches and let me tell you, it was a lot more effective.

Translation:
It is incredibly funny to witness owners of a Honda doing 18 or 19 second quarter mile passes, when we paid less (and have the same bolt ons as they do. (For example: a D16, SOHC, equipped with headers, cold air intake, a 50 shot of nitrous, msd ignition, and guages on his A-pillar that don't work, well except his A/F and nitrous guage.

(I am not going to touch this one... its already funny to read..) i know this is what ym beast friend drives.

I smear crap on SI hondas all the time, and except for a 50 shot, I would say I'm close to stock right now.

All you honda guys spend an incredible amount on those cars, and without boost I really don't think very many
"all-motor" civics (or anything else there is) can talk much crap to us, seeing that we run 15's...stock.

This is my 2 cents, and yes, I have been beaten by a few hondas: one was all motor (a crx hatch with a b16 and at least 5 grand in the motor, plus the 3,000 to buy it I'm sure...) Damn... He should've purchased a tour with a supercharger. l8

NOTE: I am not in agreement with any/all of these statements.. I am merely providing a service, free of charge.. The originator holds all feelings and is totally seperate from the proof-reader..

I was appologizing for the sh|tflingin' goin' around, not implying that you need to search.

BTW, it's Duratec not Duratech

for the search Nazis - the "search" feature isn't all that obvious, so give the new folks a break (or at least break 'em in easy).

Of course, the other obvious thing about this is that it is way easier to ask a bunch of geeks like us about 'tours then it is to try and put together the perfect search for the answer to a question that isn't in the FAQs. For cryin' in a bucket, the reason these forums are around is to share infomation and the passion for our cars - not look over your shoulder and tell the new guy with the "dumb" question, "p!ss off you loser!" I mean is this a site to share and talk about contiques or a friggin' junior high circle jerk?

I think the original post was deliberately intended to provoke the ire of the faithful on this site. He got what he wanted.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
