More aggressive PCM tuning
Conical filter assembly
Lighter flywheel
Water to Oil Oil cooler
Larger radiator (+14mm)
Beefier transmission roll resistors and Stab-o-shock Engine roll reducer

That's an old list I may have missed a few things???

I havent tried to search yet but since we are on this topic can I swap in heads and cams from an SVT into my 98 Dtec ATX with out any problems?

You'll also need the same year SVT LIM and UIM to match up mechanically. As for the PCM I wouldnt know. I dont know if it makes a difference on the PCM or not. Since we are messing with the timing, I guess so.

You can swap heads & cams without any problems.

Nothing else "needs" to be swapped.

Adding an SVT UIM and a Returnless LIM are of course great added bonuses.

Adding a custom chip is another great bonus.

Thanks everyone, I am in the process of arranging a deal on some SVT cams/heads/UIM & LIM. Will i need the larger injector or will I be ok with the stock Se ones? I wuld then be getting a chip! Sorry for Hijacking the post...

Stock injectors (17lb) will support up to about 165-170FWHP.

I think you could run them with your setup but you may be on the very edge of their range. Especially if you do some general head porting work. (maybe over it)

Remember the 54mm TB will choke off your horsepower considerably. Upgrading to an optimized 60mm SVT TB should be done.

Powerwise you will be like a lower compression SVT engine so a hair off it's average numbers with the same mods as you will have.

To be safe 19lbers would be a good upgrade at this time.

A custom chip is a must either way.
