Acutally, I did do calculations. And the first time I did them, the tube was like 1.5 meters tall!
Luckily, I found I had a units error. I forget exactly, but think I was converting the liters (what the program I used puts the final units in) to cubic meters, not cubic feet. Besides, Alpine suggests a box size of 0.3 to 0.6 cubic feet. I think mine came out to be about 0.5.
But really, I doubt the box size makes
that much difference. It sure helped though . . . worlds better than before!
