Saw this at the dyno two weekends ago. Not only did it sound like a jet taking off, but it also had some unreal numbers. The mod.....Procharger.... One of only TWO 2003 cobras with this mod in the USA. 565 RWHP 440 lb ft tq [image] [/image]

Has the stock supercharger been removed and replaced with the Procharger?

yes, it has a custom intake the replaces the factory blower and retains the factory intercooler. There was an article in this month's issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, the one in their article was the first test car and it put down 646.9 rwhp and 541.7 rwtq. check out the mag if you want the whole story.

Honestly, I would never trade my roots type Supercharger for a centrifuge. Yeah, the top end power is great. But you should see my torque curve. I like having power starting at about 2k rpms. Now I would replace my roots for a twin screw. Just waiting for Kenne Bell to release their 2.4L twin screw... --Matt

if you saw the plot for this Procharger you would think other wise, it hits peak torq at 3250. Jim LaRocca said that it was the fastest street car he has ever driven. that say alot coming from a man that builds mustangs for a living. i serious suggest you go to the news stand and check out this article, May issue of MM&FF page 142. check it!

I read MM&FF's first article they ever had about the Kenne Bell autorotor twin screw type supercharger and when they hooked it up to a 4.6L 2valve GT Mustang it was all over. At 15psi it over doubled the HP the stock GT made. The twin screw will be a revolution among superchargers. Its simplicity and efficiency will be absolutely rediculous for the Mustang crowd.

Those motors in the 03 snake can handle tons of power. I remember reading a few months ago that they have one running around 1000hp on the stock bottom.

Why not get a Lysholm supercharger- yeah they cost an arm and a leg- but they are the most efficient and give the best hp of any supercharger.
(for all I know the kenne bell is a lysholm type- im not sure)
