Hey All!
After too many months, I finally bit the bullet and took my car to a shop to get the timing right. Now it runs like it did when it was my mom's. <-- Me
Including everything (mods, labor, plates, intital cost) I only have $1300 in the car.

I do have to rag on the shop though. When I brought it in, they asked if I used the tool to keep the cams still, which I did, and then they asked if I locked the crank in place Is there a way to do this? Something about sticking something in the block to keep it from turning? It seemed like a bunch of BS. Also, when they were done (a week and a half later for three hours of work) the "mechanic" told me that the adj. cam gears were a bad idea because they mess with the MAP sensor. I thought we only had a MAF? Oh well. It was worth the $200 to get the car running right, but whether they were making stuff up or not I'm not going back because of how long they took. I am a real CEG'er!
