I can't believe it took me this long to find a thread about Consumer Reports. I had a gift subscription to CR for ~3 years and basically ended each issue ticked off. CR is a corrupt, self-serving organization only interested in lining their pockets and stroking their ego. If Al-Queda needs another target I vote for CR HQ.
Back on topic, Ford has a very disjointed line-up right now. It is not hardly possible to progress up the ladder with Ford, perhaps FoMoCo, but not Ford alone. That being said, I think the entire corporate family is well positioned and progressive and lends itself very well to keeping consumers under the blue oval umbrella.
