It's a shame that it comes down to this. Having to remove the wipers etc. is beyond rediculous to install a system. Definitely the 1st car I've had to do this to.

Alllright, I'll get started on this soon.

Thanks guys wink

I drilled a hole about 6" lower than the first grommit shown. I came out right behind the fuse box so I would unbolt this first to make sure you don't hit it with the drill. I used 0 Guage to relocate my battery to the trunk through there.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

I hope I am missing the sarcasm here.

You could always just route it over the firewall through the fender and in the door that way. Then whenever you open the door, you see the power wire and hate yourself for not taking the time to do it cleanly.

Just wait till your running the wire down the sides of the car to get it to the trunk, if you thought removing the wiper cowl was not worth your time, then wait till you have to remove every trim piece from the front to the back on the floor to run the wire underneath.

The things we do to make our cars look and soud good, ehh? smile

if you go below the cruise control unit near the wheel well you can punch a hole through the fire wall and it is away from the fuse box. you get a clear shot to the trim pannel to run the wire. I just pushed the wire up under the trim peice and that was enough but I would think there is a wire loom under the trim. getting past the seats is not a problem if you have folding seat, it runs right under the seat

This was very simple for me. I have the RCAs already done on the pass. side and the panels removed on my side for the Power Wire. Still working on the firewall. mad
