I purchased this car used and then the tranny started acting up. (So much for used cars!) Anyway, it shifts funny from 1st to 2nd. It either "slips" or shifts hard. I already replaced the VSS. I have read in other places that this tranny (CD4E) is controlled by the car's computer and is prone to electrical "issues." Can somebody tell me an accurate way to diagnose? You know if you take it to some transmission shop
they are going to want to "swap it out" to the tune of $2,500.00 or so. PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!
