OP MaVRoCK Member M Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 96 SE Michigan	Hey guys, I've installed a set of Pioneer 6x8s in my front doors and I keep losing the connection to them when the windows go all the way down. I've gone as far as using electrical tape to tape down the excess wire to the speaker magnet...that worked for 2 days, now it's down again after I put my window down all the way in the drive-thru. 99ZeTeC Member 9 Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 284 Naptown	Haven't encountered the problem myself but it may be due to the mounting depth of the speakers, stock is 2 3/4" for front and 2 1/2" for rears. Do you happen to know what the depth is for your speakers? You may want to check into that. Quality is remembered long after cost is forgotten. ...Oh sorry I guess I am just another stupid kid who doesn't know anything...

Maybe just too much wire got put in, try duct tape or some high quality glue,,, last resort.. snip some of the wire. "Wow, that sank fast." The Honkeytonk Monkey Member T Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 2,587 Sacscratchyouone	Just wondering here, did you guys make sure to run the wire around the window tracks, it sounds like you may have run them on the inside of the track, and when the window rolls down it catches the wire. You have to make a sharp corner with the wire immediately after getting it through the door and run it on the inside of the door panel. 1996 Contour "Mean Green" (99-02) 2002 Malibu Blue Focus ZX5 - something to hold the PB 15...
