I was thinking about this last night while looking through header posts.

Why not make a Pinned post at the top of this forum about headers?
Like some things you can cover so people don't keep asking over and over and over:

Which header to use (ZX2 or Focus)?
What all is needed to fit it(downpipe mostly)?
How bout adding a high flow Cat? Where to put it?
What about shorty headers?
What sound and i looking at with shortys? Race headers?
Whats are good setups with Shortys or Race headers?
How do i muffle the sound from the Race Header?

I know i would like some help with this confusion in my head about Shortys and Race headers. And i also know many people have different ideas about these different types of headers but just in case some other people want to try new things. Thanks in advance. Its the mods decision however.

from what I see on this and other forums 99.9% of the people never bother to look at pinned posts you know how many posts there are where people ask if anyone has X brand exaust when we have the exaust post pinned at the top?

Well thats true. And you have a good point but at least its information that is shared that people dont have to keep digging to find out. I know i have spent countless day looking for information on headers. By god i know so much about what NOT to do than opposed to what i have to do. I know how to fit a header, i know what i have to do after it. But theres little things that i want to find out. and i see alot of posts where someone wants to do something and yet are completely bombarded with opinions from other people. Its their personal preference. all they want is help.

Also...we have an exhaust section....yet we have no sounds bytes or media files to show what they sound like. (well, maybe 1 or 2)

I just think a pinned post would help. Not eliminate ALL header posts.....but at least help. ANd just create a pinned post and say "Futher posts about a header..WILL BE DELETED" as seen in the Aesthetic forum.

Sorry for the rant. Just expressing my views towards this situation and by no means am trying to create a fiasco because of this

Yet 4 out of 5 search pages pulled up are nothing but BS.

a sticky wouldn't hurt

considering most header posts are just telling other people to search

I try but never seem to have the magic phrase that unlocks the treasure trove of info.

P.S. There's already a sticky, "The comprehensive exhaust database."

If you want info on the header.....you are looking at the wrong forum.....the old forums (archives) have all the info on my header (you can search there).
