If you see what comes out of the exhaust manifolds when you gut them, you won't want to do it "on-car"! I know I wouldn't dream of it, even though the rear bank is a nightmare to take off Get some swivel joints and a good selection of extension lengths. Extra hands help out a lot, and an air ratchet will make it much easier IMO.
