Blaupunkt San Jose is a great deck, but it's got RED illumination! If you like Christmas, go for it! BTW, it's not switchable to green.
I went with a Pioneer Premier DEH-P740MP. Three sets of preouts and pretty nice sound. Access time is a little slow (about 5s) and the organic EL display isn't everyone's cup 'o tea. It was under $300 shipped.
Just don't get the non-Premier P7400MP as it's only got two preouts.
