That can be fixed by organizing differently. I just got a new Dension DMP3 hard drive based player, and I rearranged my MP3s into directories based on the artist name. I'm writing a program to further break them down by album name and track number, so I can recreate the actual play order of the CDs.

I also have a mp3mixes directory with different types of music, each in their own subdirectory. Those directories are around 175 songs each and used to be what I burnt MP3 CDs from for my CDC-MP3, but that works well for the Dension too.

And of course a good interface on the player helps too. smile
