does anyone know an easier way to change the pcv valve without haveing to unbolt the exhaust manifold and heat shield? it is a 95 contour gl. thanks.

Have a look. This procedure looks way easier.
Actually I changed mine yesterday but realized there is a split in the rubber hose that attaches to the end of the PCV. I didn't remove any parts (have small hands) but it was a PITA to replace. Will be using the procedure referenced above to replace the rubber hose.

that seems alot better than what the haynes manual said to do. and sorry about posting it in the wrong place.

That looks easier than when I followed the haynes way. They didnt take off as many parts, so it was a pain to take it out and put a new one in. I just cut the old hose off eventually and put a new one on.
