I just thought this was a cool story especially given all the corruption in corporate America today... Setting a good example

Wow I'm speechless. A man who's thankful what he's got and not greedy!

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

He sure doesn't need the money with probably near $50 million in options on the table!
It reminds me of Bob Knight, who gave back his entire year's salary to Texas Tech when he failed to make the NCAA tournament, or Sidney Taurel, the CEO of Lilly who took a $1 salary for 2 (or 3) years so that the rest of his compensation could be reinvested in the company to help bring it back to prominence.
And Bill Gates still doesn't get enough credit for donating something like $17 BILLION dollars to charity.

The day the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was founded it became the second largest charity organization in the world by assets.

I think the success of the Family company means a lot more than $. Think of it. If it was your family name up there, most of us would do the same, I would imagine.
Anyway, props to Bill. Now, can you do something about the paint on my '98 ??
Bless our servicemen & women overseas.

Maybe with him doing this it will encourage the workers to produce better products. Still though, it's pretty cool that he did that. I wonder if company stock will go up a little now.
