i think he means dont share a ground with anything thats not part of your audio system... it can cause a ground loop, any maybe other problems that i dont know about. as per your other questions, i ran a bolt through the top of my swiss cheese trunk, sanded off the paint, and put huge washers on there. i can describe it better if you want, just pm me. my subs face towards the rear.

I've got a Rockford punch 100.2 wired 2ohm to a 12" rockford Z series.

I've got a good ground I just wanted to know what everyone else was doin.

I have mine facing to the back, The guy at the shop told me i would get a better response from the bass because it would bouce off the back of the trunk and back into the cabin. I have my ground wire to this bolt under the seat.

I did some experamintin (yeah I can't spell) yesterday and I found that the location that I like the best (for me) is in the corner (near the tail light) firing towards the other side I seem to have more response from the sub. I also tapped up all the fart holes and that made a difference.

Face em to the rear, most definitely, you will recieve more bass, cause it will reflect off of your trunk and make you subs seem bigger and louder, it gives em more surface to rattle and rumble off of , which is all bass is anyways , so its almost like a bass amplifier.....
