i have 2 5 1/4 rockford fosgates. I was thinking of cutaing a 6x9 oval using thin wood the ncutting a 5" hole in the middle of that mount the speaker in that. Then ill put the wood over the hole for the speaker in the door ill drill holes in the wood and use the existing holes in the dorr so i wont have ot drill new ones....

My question im not getting my contour till saturday and im not a stereo expert at all...

If i make my lil home made bracket will the speaker fit and since ill be pushing it out a tad bit more will the door panel fit over it correctly.

Or if any one knows were i can actually buy a bracket for this id rather do that since its gonna be a pain in the a$$ to make this..

The baffle would work fine, I used masonite to make the baffle for my components and then sealed the door with dynamat, worked out pretty well.
