It's a PITA. I'm currently doing it myself when I have time on weekends etc. The front bank isn't too bad. The rear is a beeotch but alot of exstentions and half the studs are easy to get at. The EGR tube can be a pain( I had to cut mine off) As for install I have no clue i haven't got there yet....crappy weather and no time between 2 jobs This weekend I'm hoping to get them in.

yeah, im sure the egr can be a pita. Ive uninstalled/reinstalled my street flight manifolds twice now. You may have to remove the passenger axle shaft to make it a little bit easier. Its not too bad though, i can remove them and install them in about 2 hours.

I never believed in penetrating oil like PB Blaster until I had to work on my exhaust system. Use LOTS of it.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Yes!! PB blast was a savior...but I had a hell of a time getting the top bolt out of the alternator and I was lying on my back the WHOLE time and midway through just started to get pissed off and frustrated...I started at 10am and finished at 1am.. Well worth it though...definately better than 450 bucks. If i did it again probably (definately) be half the time.. Axle would probably help, I didnt do that though Something else I noticed..if you have the resources available..When replacing my friends tranny we pulled the subframe off and it looked as though we could do the back bank in like 10 min! But only if you have the resources available to do that..that's my $.02 (for what its worth) -Ken

I finished installing the headers today. personally I think the rear bank is easier to install and tighten all the nuts then the front bank. that really surprised me But anyways they still are a PITA I shed enough blood and skin on this damn car Just give yourself enough time for headaches, busted/bloody knuckles, and rusted stripped broken bolts Why again was it I loved these cars so much
