Hi,
Anybody know where I can buy a real Carbon Fiber frame for rear plates ? I saw one at Maguire's - for 35$ and I wonder if I can find it for less.

real cf? its gonna cost more. fake but good looking was had in the group buy. i like mine.

Well,
they web page doesn't say anything about it being "carbon fiber look".
Why should it cost more ? It's not titanium. it just plastic.

because carbon fiber is expensive. a sheet of real cf to do a license plate probably costs 45-60 bucks. my "fake" cf ceg plate was 35 in the group buy.

buy a licence plate braket in the auto parts store...
buy some carbon fiber vinal...
do it yourself...
i didnt the ashtray in the back of my tour, and the door handles on the inside...
fun too!

i can understand that but you arent going to "save" any weight using real cf. you cover your hood in cf vinyl...thats ricy. the license plate...i dont think anyone will give a sh!t

Yea, I know. But I just can't do that. _I_ will know it isn't real. And I will embarrass myself in from on of myself.
Same problem that I have with gold plated jewelry - not a real thing 
It just me. It's hard to live with myself somedays

if you can live with paying more then 10 bucks for a LICENCE PLATE FRAME...then you should start to wonder about yourself...
