Once Jeff gets the correct resin mixture, then he will post a group buy.

Jeff, keep on engineering the material until you get it right where it is strong enough while being heat resistant. As you can see from the posts here you are guaranteed quit a few sales.

Question for CEGers - does one color seem to be more prone to melt and fail over other colors? My 2000 T-red failed at about 36,200 mi. while my blue 96 SE never failed. I've heard of other T-red failures while I've not heard of Silver Frost cars failing. What about black, green and non-SVT colors.

My T-red 96 is doing well at nearly 70k, except it stuttered a bit last summer on some of the hottest days. So, I figure it's on its way out.

Well here is the latest...

The bottom line is I have to run this gear on my injection machine. The good news is I will do this. The bad news is it will be a while longer. I'm very sorry to let you down in the short term. I tried two new resins and neither one worked. I'll be sending Rick his gear back. My schedule will be to finish the current project I am working on for the end of April and then ramping this one up. I have already visited my machine shop to get them started. They will give me some numbers next week so I can figure out what the gear will cost. I'm not going to even guess at it now but I will get back to the board later and see if the prices will work before continuing.

I really want to thank everyone who has helped so far and let you know that I will not forget about you when I finally get the gear made right. The last thing I want is customers calling a year later yelling at me about a broken gear.

Please check in to my website every now and again. I post new info in the top. I will do my best to keep all of you informed as I continue the progress.
