When you guys installed your amp kits, where did you run the power/rca's? I just got my amp kit and was looking for some suggestions on where to run them. Do the front seats need to be removed? Thanks

I ran the power down the drivers side and the RCAs down the passenger side of the car. And I removed the passengers seat.

I ran the power cable down the driver's side and the RCA's down the center (under the counsel and carpet)

My power & remote turn on comes directly from my battery, so it runs through the engine bay, through the rubber grommet at the base of the windshield and then is routed under the driver's door rubber trim (there's a nice gap in there for the wires), around the B-Pillar, up under the side of the rear seat, and into the trunk where my amp is located up under the rear parcel shelf.
The RCA cables (need to be run away from power cables) are run from the HU along the passengers door rubber trim/B-Pillar, etc...

Your remote turn on wire is on your battery? So your amp is always on?

me too.
you should hook the remote wire to something that turns on and off with the car. i hooked mine into the wire that turns the HU on and off when the key is in the on or off position.
if you dont do that, you need to put a switch of some kind on there so you can turn the amp off when the car is off.

Your JVC doesn't have a REM out put?
Why would you use anything other than that or that and a Relay? Every aftermarket deck has a Remote turn on, or system control as its called on some.. There is no need to run your REM to a source..

OOPS! I mean the main power is from batter. Remote is from back of HU, runs parallel to the power wire in the doors & trunk.
sorry about that confusion !
