I just hit 45,000 like this weekend.

Our rims are the Enkei RS6's. Mine are 18's and looks like his are 17's.

Thanks guys! thejms is correct I have the 17" Enkei RS-6 rims. I love them. I almost went 18" but wanted more go power.
The car is on it's 3rd engine and 2nd tranny. First motor spun a bearing (very common for the 98's), the second due to oil starvation. This one has been great. I bought the car with a blown tranny and managed to get in on the roush tranny group buy. The pictures don't show the effects of the 100+ miles of commuting I did a day (stupid gravel trucks ) or the mean nasty birds. The car REALLY needs a paint job. Now that it is a fun car it is on my list.

How common was the spun bearing in the '98 SVTs and what are the signs/effects of that happening?

I didn't own the car at the time the first 2 engines died.
Lupe (Roz 1999 SVT-C) just lost an engine due to a spun bearing. There is a post in the 3 liter forum, maybe you could ask?

I have seen numerous posts about the 98's having spun bearing problems but have no technical knowledge on the subject. I just like to drive fast.
