That retro deck is ugly, buts its got analog knobs...
aaaahhhaa, analog, how I miss you...

BTW, the macintosh is one ugly deck. I can't see how they can put such wonderful components in a Sparkomatic casing. Could be a good theft deterrent for the non-informed though...

Monkey, looks like you should of hung in there for another year  I'm sorry, there is no way I would buy that ugly head unit, when the clarion 9255 has the same electronics and looks 100 times better. Believe me, I like low key. But there is a difference between low key and ugly ass

OK someone here owns an ugly ass deck Either that or ugly ass deck envy... The letters on the Macintosh branding looked hand painted by a Parkinsons patient on the floor model I saw. Looks like the whole casing was molded from a cheap Canadian Tire head unit. Nice chrome trim around the knobs :rolleyes: I refuse to believe they ran out of budget for the design department. Not at that price.... Its really a shame, because the innards are awesome and the clarion is really hard to come by these days...

probably because of people like you they sold so many AMC gremlins... With a 390 in them, they are pretty quick. Not quite as fast as my brothers pinto with a 351 in it, though. To be honest, the Mc wouldn't fit in many modern cars, but I really am a huge fan of the looks.
