My father installed new stuts on my car a few months ago as a surprise birthday gift. I now have 4" of space above my front tire and only 1/2" above the rears. Everything that I have looked at in this group involves lowering springs that require stiffer than stock struts. I can't replace the struts that my father just purchased and installed for me because that would basically tell him he bought me crap, which would go over like a lead balloon. Also I cannot make my car ride any stiffer because my wife and kid are regularly in the car. If they decide the ride is too stiff, I will begin riding in the passenger side of an Escape.

My question is what type of springs should I put on my car to lower the front end by about 2 inches and possibly raise the rear end about 1/2"? I want to get the factory stance back without the nose in the air, but apparently the factory springs are just a bit too strong with the Gabriel GasRyder struts.
